Using these 10 small tips daily will help you lose fat, no gym or even diet plan needed.

1. Eat small portions: According to certain studies, we are inclined to eat only what’s right in front of us, so by having the smallest portion of everything you eat, you will reduce your calorie intake considerably.

2. Switch to less fatter milk: Unless you are already drinking skimmed milk, which is the lowest you can go if you want to enjoy milk in its watery form. This means that you have to switch from regular milk to 2 %, from 2% to 1% and from then on to skim milk, which is known to contain half the calories and 95% less fat than regular milk.

3. Take some fresh air after dinner: By taking a 20 minute walk, you will feel fuller and you will also have a reduced appetite, according to a study done on 10 obese women at the University of Glasgow. Check out women’s health news today.

4. Eat nuts instead of unhealthy snacks: By eating almonds or any kind of nuts that represent a moderate-fat diet, you will lose weight faster.

5. Have a frozen dinner: The idea behind this is to eat a meal that was pre-portioned and because it’s for weight loss, it will surely be a small portion. This needs to happen because most of us have a habit of having more for dinner than for breakfast, so this is a great way of not eating those extra calories. Just buy the ones that are for a single serving.

6. Social eating is bad for weight loss: You need to avoid this, especially if there is a large group involved, because studies have shown that this way you will spend a lot more time at the table than you usually would. But if you hate eating alone, you can still eat with other people, with your partner or one of your friends, for example.

7. Watch less TV: Studies have found that the more TV you watch, the more you eat. If you want to stop yourself form overeating, you can do so by giving up one show or a series. There has to be one that you don’t enjoy so much. This way you will have fewer opportunities to eat the wrong things.

8. Have an increased calorie intake in the morning: The best thing to do is to eat as much as you want in the morning, this way you won’t eat so much in the afternoon, not to mention that you have more opportunities to burn off your morning calories, than you do those you have for dinner.

9. Make the kitchen off-limits after dinner: Clean it completely, wash the dishes, wipe down the counters, you can even clean the floor if you want to. You can also seal any cabinets that contain foods, even the refrigerator. Make a rule out of not eating after dinner and if you succeed, you can save up to 300 calories a day or 31 pounds a year.

10. When hungry, sniff food instead of eating it: Now, you might say that this wouldn’t work on you, but think of it this way: it’s a great way of learning abstinence. Make an exercise out of sniffing the food, without eating it. There is a theory that says that by sniffing the food, you will make your brain believe that you’ve eaten it.
